🕊️ PRAY HERE Devotion 🕊️
“You Have To Save Yourself PT. 1”

Scripture: Acts 2:40–41 (NLT)

“Then Peter continued preaching for a long time, strongly urging all his listeners, ‘Save yourselves from this crooked generation!’ Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.”

Devotion: It’s funny how something can be completely available to us, yet we still go without it simply because we won’t get up and pursue it.

We’ll sit there feeling defeated… stressed… overwhelmed… saying, “Woe is me,”

when in reality,you are ONE☝️decision away from changing your life and securing your eternal home.

We make time for everything else:

we read everything else,

we listen to everything else,

we pursue everything else;

but the most important relationship of all is often the one we neglect:KNOWING GOD.

The One we need the MOST is too often the One we ignore the MOST.

The only One who can truly fix your heart, heal your mind, break your chains, and save your soul;

is sometimes at thebottomof your priority list.

And yes, it’s not totally your fault;

the enemy does a great job distracting, entertaining, and misleading us,

especially when we haven’t grown strong enough to resist him.

In today’s scripture, Peter was preaching passionately to a generation that:

– rejected Jesus,

– crucified Him,

– ignored the truth,

– and chose crooked and unrighteous ways.

Sound familiar?

It should, because it looks a lot like today’s world (generation).

Peter pleaded with them and delivered a powerful command:

“SAVE YOURSELVES.”

He didn’t say:

– wait for someone else to save you.

– wait until your life changes first.

– wait for Jesus to force you into salvation.

No.

He made it clear:YOU must make the decision.

Every day you wake up, you have a choice:

To give in to the crookedness of the world around you…

or toSAVE YOURSELFby turning to God.

Stop skipping over God.

Stop ignoring His voice.

Stop putting off the most important decision of your life.

Receive Him today.

Choose Him today.

Your salvation is not automatic;

it is available, butYOUmust reach for it.

Prayer: Lord, help me stop delaying the decision that can save my life. Strengthen me to resist distractions, temptations, and anything that pulls me away from You. I choose today to turn my heart toward You. Save me, cleanse me, and help me walk in Your truth from this day forward.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
