🕊️ PRAY HERE DEVOTION 🕊️
No Faith in the Miracle Worker

Scripture: Hebrews 11:6–7 (NIV)

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.”

Devotion: Did you know there are many people who have rejected miracles and answers to their problems simply because they did not truly believe in Jesus, God Himself? What’s even more baffling is that many of these individuals attend church regularly and even serve, yet still lack real faith in God.

I’ve witnessed people go through extremely difficult seasons, assuming that God would “just fix it” because they go to church or said a quick prayer. But deep down, they never truly believed that He could. Because of that lack of faith, their situations worsened. Eventually, some walked away from the church altogether and concluded that maybe God wasn’t real after all.

Two people can face the same exact situation and experience completely different outcomes. In many cases, the determining factor is faith; or the lack of it.

Today’s scripture makes this very clear: “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Not difficult. Not unlikely. Impossible. Anyone who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Faith isn’t optional; it’s required.

Verse 7 gives us a powerful example in Noah. Noah was warned about things that had never happened before: things he could not see, prove, or explain. Yet, by faith, he built the ark. His obedience and belief saved his entire family. Had Noah lacked faith, he and his family would have perished in the flood.

In the world we live in today, we cannot afford to be a faithless people. We need faith like Noah. Faith like Enoch. Faith like Abraham. Faith that trusts God even when the miracle hasn’t happened yet.

Acknowledging where your faith truly lies, and making a decision to believe God, is life-changing. Faith opens the door for miracles, direction, protection, and transformation. God is still a Miracle Worker, but faith is the key that unlocks the door.

Prayer: Father God, increase my faith. Forgive me for the times I doubted Your power or limited what You could do in my life. Help me to truly believe that You exist and that You reward those who seek You. Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight. I trust You as the Miracle Worker, and I place my life fully in Your hands.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
