🕊️PRAY HERE Devotion🕊️ “You Shall Lack Nothing”

Scripture: “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” — James 1:2–4 (KJV)

Devotion: Have you ever been met with unexpected challenges, suffering, or hard tests? Those moments can leave you weary, ready to give up, and tempted to lose faith. But do not be afraid of challenges, for they make us stronger and give God the opportunity to show Himself mighty on our behalf.

When we endure hardship with faith, we invite God to work miracles in our lives. The trials that come to test us are often the very tools God uses to build us up. He never allows anything without a purpose.

Job is a powerful example of perseverance . Job lost everything: his family, his wealth, and his health; yet he did not curse God. Through his endurance and unwavering faith, God restored him with twice as much as he had before.

A more relatable example might be a person who loses their job unexpectedly but continues to trust God. Instead of giving up, they pray, remain faithful, and allow God to lead them. In time, God opens a new door for them : better pay, better peace, and a stronger testimony.

That’s what today’s scripture promises: that through endurance, “you shall lack nothing.” What a wonderful promise! When you stand firm in faith, God will supply every need. He may not come when you want Him, but He is always on time. If you are lacking faith, strength, or courage to endure, ask your Heavenly Father. He will freely give you what you need to stand tall in the test.

You can count any trial as joy when you know that God is working it together for your good. Every difficulty you face is producing something in you : strength, patience, and unwavering trust in the One who will never fail.

So, whatever you are facing today, remind yourself: I shall lack nothing. God’s supply never runs out, and His promises never fail. Knowing this allows me to count it all joy!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that I shall lack nothing when I trust in You. Help me to face every trial with faith and patience, knowing that You are working all things for my good. Strengthen my heart, increase my faith, and fill me with endurance to keep going. I trust You to provide everything I need.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
