🕊️ PRAY HERE Devotion 🕊️ The Lord Will Send Somebody to You to Confirm His Word

Scripture: Acts 9:10-12 (ERV)

“In Damascus there was a follower named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, ‘Ananias!’ He answered, ‘Here I am, Lord.’ The Lord said to him, ‘Get up and go to the street called Straight. Find the house of Judas. Ask for a man named Saul from the city of Tarsus. Right now he is praying. Saul has seen a vision in which a man named Ananias comes and lays his hands on him so that he can see again.’”

Devotion: Has anyone ever come to you and confirmed something that nobody knew but you and God?

Maybe they spoke a word that answered the very prayer you had been praying in private.

Maybe they encouraged you at the exact moment you were ready to give up.

Or maybe you have been the person God sent to someone else, and you did not even realize why He told you to go.

Whew!

God has a way of confirming His Word.

Sometimes His instructions do not make sense to us.

Sometimes He tells us to call someone.

Sometimes He tells us to go somewhere.

Sometimes He tells us to pray for a complete stranger.

And the whole time, He already has a plan.

Glory to God!

Let’s look at today’s scripture.

Before Ananias ever arrived at Saul’s house, God had already given Saul a vision.

Think about that.

God was working on both ends.

He was speaking to Saul…

And at the very same time, He was speaking to Ananias.

Whew!

Saul did not know when Ananias was coming.

Ananias did not fully understand why God was sending him.

But God knew exactly what He was doing.

When Ananias arrived, he fulfilled the very vision God had already shown Saul.

Now Saul knew…

“It really was God.”

My, my, my!

Have you ever prayed,

“Lord, if this is really You, send me confirmation.”

Then out of nowhere someone called you…

A sermon answered your question…

A stranger spoke exactly what you had been wrestling with…

Or you opened your Bible and the very scripture you needed was staring back at you.

That is not coincidence.

That is God confirming His Word.

Thank You, Jesus!

Sometimes we become discouraged because we cannot see how God is working.

But while you are praying…

God is already talking to somebody else.

While you are waiting…

God is already arranging the next step.

While you are wondering if He heard you…

He is already preparing the answer.

Whew!

On the other hand, maybe you are Ananias.

Maybe God has been nudging you to make a phone call.

To send a text.

To pray for someone.

To encourage a person you barely know.

You may think,

“I don’t understand why.”

You do not have to understand.

You only have to obey.

Because your obedience may be the confirmation someone else has been praying for.

Glory!!

Today, be encouraged.

God is not only speaking to you…

He is also working behind the scenes.

He knows exactly who to send, exactly what to say, and exactly when to say it.

Nothing catches God by surprise.

So trust His timing.

Trust His plan.

And when He sends someone to confirm His Word, receive it with gratitude.

Prayer: Father God, thank You for always knowing exactly what I need. Thank You for confirming Your Word and reminding me that You are actively working in my life even when I cannot see it. Help me trust Your timing and Your plan. Lord, make me sensitive to Your voice so that when You send someone to encourage, help, or confirm Your Word to me, I will recognize that it is You. Also, if You choose to use me as Your messenger, give me the courage to obey without hesitation. Let my life be available for Your purpose, and help me trust that You are always working on both ends of every situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
