🕊️ PRAY HERE Devotion 🕊️ The Holy Spirit Will Keep You From Error

Scripture: Ezekiel 36:27 (KJV)

“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”

Devotion: Have you ever heard this saying in church: “He will keep you, if you want to be kept”?

Guess what; He will!

If you want to live right, do right, and stay right, the Holy Spirit will keep you from messing up. So once you receive and accept the Holy Spirit, there are no excuses.

Let’s face a sad truth… everybody does not want to be RIGHT.

I heard some of you gasp and clutch invisible pearls.

Yes, there are people who would rather live in their own crooked ways instead of the ways of the Lord. Mercy unto those who choose that road; it only leads to death (Romans 6:23).

Now let’s be real.

Is it hard to walk in the ways of God and keep His commandments?

Without the Holy Spirit…., YES!

You cannot stay on a straight path without the HELP of the Holy Spirit.

Today’s scripture confirms that the Holy Spirit helps us to do right. Read it again.

“I will put my Spirit in you…”

Pause.

Do you want His Spirit?

Why would you not want help, power to overcome the enemy, an inner GPS to guide you, and God’s very presence living in you?

The benefits of having the Holy Spirit are endless.

The old church used to say, “If you don’t want your portion, I’ll take it. Give me a double portion of the Holy Ghost!”

Let’s keep reading.

After He puts His Spirit in you, it will cause you to walk in His ways.

That means you won’t be out here trying to figure it out on your own. The Spirit will guide you, correct you, and keep you aligned.

The struggle you’ve been having with making the right decisions and being consistent in your walk; your solution is the Holy Spirit.

He said you will keep His judgments and do them.

That’s not just talk; that’s transformation.

So if you are tired of going in circles…

If you are tired of falling into the same patterns…

If you truly want to live a life that pleases God…

You need the Holy Spirit.

And if you’re not convinced yet, keep seeking, keep studying, and keep praying until you find the truth.

Prayer: Father God, thank You for the promise of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You that You have not left us to walk this life alone, but have given us Your Spirit to guide, correct, and keep us. Lord, we desire to be kept by You. Place Your Spirit within us and cause us to walk in Your ways. Help us to turn away from anything that is not pleasing to You and to fully surrender to Your will. Strengthen us where we are weak and lead us in truth daily. We receive Your help, Your power, and Your presence.
