🕊️PRAY HERE Devotion🕊️ “Permanent Promise to Love You”

Scripture: Romans 8:38–39 (NIV)

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Devotion: Real LOVE seeks nothing from you; instead, it is a deep affection that desires your well-being. The Agape Love of God is this kind of love : a perfect, permanent, unbreakable connection to Him.

Even when people say they love you, their love often comes with conditions : terms that can change based on feelings, actions, or situations. Unless a person has truly known and experienced the Love of God, they do not fully know what love really is.

Let’s back this up with Scripture: 1 John 4:8 tells us that anyone who does not love does not know God, because GOD IS LOVE. This means that many people are walking around giving and receiving false love, not because they intend to, but because they have not yet experienced the source of real love , God Himself.

His love cannot be severed, diminished, or removed in any way. Think about that. Have people who once said they loved you ever hurt, betrayed, or abandoned you? Most of us would say yes. But God’s love is different : it’s not based on performance, perfection, or reciprocity. It is steadfast, unchanging, and eternal.

Today’s Scripture assures us that nothing : not life, not death, not mistakes, not the past, not any force in this world or beyond—can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

Here’s why: God is love, and He is also our Creator. That means you were created by Love. Just like your parents’ DNA remains in you no matter what happens, God’s divine love is permanently part of your spiritual DNA. Even if you don’t feel close to Him or don’t understand His ways, you can never be separated from what made you.

Let that truth settle in your heart. Allow it to heal every wound that came from fake love and restore your confidence in knowing that you are ;  and always will be , loved by God.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your permanent and perfect love. Heal every place in me that has been hurt by false love, and remind me daily that nothing can separate me from You. Help me to rest in Your unchanging affection and to share that same love with others.
