šŸ•Šļø PRAY HERE DEVOTION šŸ•Šļøā€Øā€œLord I’m Availableā€

Scripture:

Isaiah 6:8 (NIV)

ā€œThen I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ā€˜Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ā€˜Here am I. Send me!ā€™ā€

Devotion: Because we know God to be infinite and all-powerful, we often never think for a moment that He needs us for anything. The truth is, we need God far more than He needs us; but He desires to use us in the earth to be His witnesses.

Whether you realize it or not, you may be the only image of God someone sees today. One invitation to know Him, one prayer, or even one word of truth and encouragement could change a person’s entire life.

Think about who witnessed to you and helped bring you to Christ. Take a moment to thank God for those faithful and loving witnesses. Oh, how blessed we are because someone was willing.

Have you ever heard the phrase, ā€œThe harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are fewā€? That comes from Matthew 9:37, and it is still very true today. There are so many people who desperately need God; that is the harvest. But there are so few willing children of God volunteering to witness; that is the laborers.

In today’s scripture, Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord after he was cleansed. God asked a powerful question: ā€œWhom shall I send? And who will go for us?ā€ Without hesitation, without excuses, and without fear, Isaiah responded, ā€œHere am I. Send me!ā€

Isaiah was not a famous preacher or a priest. God was not looking for perfection; He was looking for willingness. All the Lord needed was a willing heart to speak His truth and help people who had turned away from Him come back and be restored.

Will you take on Isaiah’s attitude today? Will you make yourself available to be used by God? Will your answer be, ā€œHere am I. Send meā€?

I pray that your answer is yes.

Prayer: Father God, thank You for choosing to use ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Today, I offer myself to You. Make me willing, obedient, and bold to be Your witness. Open my eyes to see those who need You and give me the words, compassion, and courage to share Your truth. Use my life for Your glory.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
