Scripture: ā€œThou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.ā€ —Psalm 23:5 (KJV)

Devotion: Have you ever felt empty or completely drained from giving so much of yourself, whether to your family, your job, your ministry, or the constant pressures of life? It can feel like you are pouring from a cup that has nothing left in it.

Maybe you have been the one everyone calls when they need prayer or encouragement, but no one checks in on you. Or perhaps you have been working hard to hold everything together, yet you feel weary and unappreciated. That kind of emptiness is real, but God is able to fill your cup again.

Whether you are running low on strength, peace, joy, or love, the Lord can and will refill you. All you have to do is ask Him. He is the source of everything we need. He desires for us to live a life that is not only full but overflowing, a life that reflects His goodness, mercy, and grace.

Even when life gets hard and challenges arise, He can still fill you to the brim. And when God fills your cup, He doesn’t stop at ā€œjust enough.ā€ He pours until it overflows. That overflow is where your strength to give, love, and serve others comes from. You can’t pour into others when you are empty, but when you are filled by Him, you have more than enough to share.

Don’t stay in that dry, depleted place. Lift your cup to God and say, ā€œLord, fill me again.ā€ Allow His Spirit to refresh you, renew you, and restore everything you have poured out. Let your cup overflow with His presence, peace, and power.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come to You today asking that You fill my cup again. Pour Your peace into my heart, Your strength into my spirit, and Your joy into my soul. Remove the weariness and fill me with Your love until it overflows. Thank You for being my source and my strength. Let my life reflect the overflow of Your goodness so that I can be a blessing to others.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
