🕊️ PRAY HERE DEVOTION 🕊️ God’s Prepared Plan for You to Do Good

Scripture: Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

Devotion: Have you ever stopped to ask yourself, “Why did God create me the way He did?”

Not just your talents.

Not just your personality.

But your experiences, your struggles, your background ; all of it.

Imagine someone who went through years of hardship: rejection, financial struggle, broken relationships. Later in life, they find themselves encouraging others who are walking through the same pain. What once felt like a setback becomes the very tool God uses to help someone else stand. That wasn’t random. That wasn’t luck. That was preparation.

Ephesians 2:10 tells us we are God’s masterpiece. A masterpiece is not rushed. It is intentional. Thought out. Designed with purpose. And the purpose is clear ; to do good.

God’s prepared plan for you may not look like someone else’s journey. One person may teach. Another may serve quietly. One may lead publicly. Another may pray faithfully behind the scenes.

The assignments differ, but the mission at the core is the same: to do good.

Not for applause.

Not for validation.

But because it reflects the heart of God.

Sometimes we overcomplicate our purpose. We search for something big and dramatic, when God may simply be calling us to show kindness, extend mercy, act with integrity, forgive, give, help, build, and serve. The good He prepared for you is already woven into your life.

You are not an accident.

You are not overlooked.

You are not behind.

God’s prepared plan for you to do good was set in motion long ago. Walk in it. Trust it. And let your life reflect the goodness of the One who designed you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for creating me with purpose and intention. Help me to see myself the way You see me ; as Your masterpiece. Teach me to walk in the good works You have already prepared for me. Remove doubt, comparison, and distraction from my heart. Align my life with Your plan, and use me to reflect Your goodness wherever I go. I trust that You have designed my journey for a reason.
