🕊️ PRAY HERE Devotion 🕊️ Faith Has Proof Pt 2

Scripture: Mark 16:17–18 (ESV)

“And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Devotion: You have so many “believers” who say they believe in Jesus and the power of God, but there are no signs of their self-proclaimed faith.

As long as everything is going well, they speak with so much faith.

“God is so good!”

“I trust the Lord!”

“I know He will make a way!”

But when sickness comes… they lose all hope.

When spiritual attacks come… they do not know how to stand.

When the enemy shows up… they cannot rebuke, cast out, or fight in the Spirit because their faith has not been exercised.

Whew.

Jesus said in today’s scripture that signs would follow those who believe.

Not might.

Not maybe.

Will.

That means faith should have evidence.

Casting out demons.

Healing the sick.

Protection in danger.

Power in His name.

These are not fairy tales.

These are not church stories to make people shout.

This is real.

I have seen the signs, wonders, and miracles of believing in Him and the power of the name Jesus.

I remember being in a car accident.

I hit a wide steel pole going around 70 miles per hour. I had fallen asleep behind the wheel on my way to an early work shift.

When I opened my eyes, I saw fire and my car was spinning.

My life flashed before my eyes.

I felt like I was about to die.

But I called out:

“JESUS!!!!!”

And my car stopped immediately.

I was completely unharmed, and my car was totaled.

Tell me that is not God.

My faith showed proof, and my life was changed.

That moment taught me something I will never forget:

The name of Jesus has power.

Real power.

Not just something we say in prayer.

Not just something we put on a church flyer.

Power.

This ties right back to yesterday.

Faith without works is dead.

And faith without evidence should make us stop and examine ourselves.

Sometimes the reason people are experiencing certain challenges is not because God failed; it is because their faith is weak, inactive, or undeveloped.

You cannot fight spiritual battles with lazy faith.

You cannot expect miracles while living in unbelief.

You cannot shout “I believe” and then panic every time life gets hard.

Faith has proof.

So ask yourself honestly:

Do signs follow my faith?

Do I trust the power of Jesus enough to act on it?

Or am I only strong in faith when life is easy?

Because what Jesus said is not a myth.

It is real.

And if you truly believe, your life will show it.

God bless you!

Prayer: Father God, thank You for the power in the name of Jesus. Forgive me for the times I have claimed faith but did not walk in it. Lord, strengthen my belief and help me trust You beyond words. I do not want weak or dead faith; I want living faith with proof. Teach me to stand in spiritual battles, to pray with authority, and to trust Your power in every situation. Let signs follow my belief and let my life be evidence that I know You are real. I believe, Lord; help my unbelief and increase my faith.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
