🕊️ PRAY HERE Devotion 🕊️ Faith Has Proof Pt 1

Scripture: James 2:17

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”

Devotion: Most things said can be proven.

If someone says they love you, there should be actions that prove it.

If someone says they are your friend, loyalty should prove it.

If someone says they are hungry, eventually they are going to go get something to eat.

Today, we are talking about your faith in God being proven.

Faith should have proof.

If I say I believe God is a provider, then I should trust Him enough to tithe, obey, and not panic every time money gets funny.

If I say I believe God is a healer, then my prayers and my expectation should reflect that.

If I say I trust God with my future, then I should be willing to obey Him even when it does not make sense.

That is faith with proof.

But it has become too common for “Christians” to talk faith and never show evidence of it.

A lot of people know how to shout, quote scripture, and say “I’m trusting God,” but when it is time to act, they freeze.

Today’s scripture basically says: faith without works is dead.

That means you can say all day long that you believe in God and His power, but if there are no actions connected to that belief… your faith is lifeless.

Whew.

That is strong.

Because dead faith looks like praying for a job but never filling out an application.

Dead faith looks like asking God to restore your marriage while still refusing to forgive.

Dead faith looks like praying for healing while continuing habits that destroy your body.

Dead faith looks like saying “God is my source” while never obeying Him financially.

Faith is internal.

But actions are visible, external proof that WE HAVE IT!

If we expect to be the light of the world, a witness for the Lord, and have miracles, signs, and wonders follow us; we have got to wake up this dead faith with action.

Faith moves.

Faith obeys.

Faith steps.

Faith trusts enough to do something.

If you are believing God for anything right now, put some action with your faith today.

Make the call.

Start the plan.

Forgive the person.

Give the offering.

Take the step.

Open the business.

Apply for the opportunity.

Pray again.

And watch God show up in your situation.

Prayer: Father God, thank You for teaching me that real faith has proof. Lord, forgive me for the times I have said I trust You but failed to move in obedience. Help me to not have dead faith, but living faith that produces action. Strengthen me to take the steps You are leading me to take, even when I feel afraid or uncertain. Let my actions reflect my belief in You. I trust Your power, Your promises, and Your timing. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight, and let my life be evidence that I truly believe You.
