🕊️ PRAY HERE Devotion 🕊️ 3 Things We Desperately Need Now

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 13:14 (KJV)

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.”

Devotion: When you really take a look at our world today, there is a lot of division and conflict, false teachers, and UNREPENTANT sin.

Whether you realize it or not… WE NEED A SAVIOR!

You may agree that these things exist in the world, but think it does not really have anything to do with you.

Be real.

Take a scan over your daily lifestyle.

It is likely that it is not without sin.

That attitude.

That unforgiveness.

That pride.

That secret struggle.

That thing God told you to let go of.

Yes… we all still need God.

Let’s talk about the 3 things we desperately need.

Number 1: We Need GRACE from God

Yes, yes, yes!

We need grace to cover our sins, our weaknesses, and the places where we fall short.

We still need God’s love and kindness.

We do not want our sin to cause distance between us and God because according to His Word, SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD.

Lord, we need Your grace.

What does grace look like?

Grace is when you should have been judged, but God gave you another chance.

Grace is when you messed up, cried out to God, and instead of rejection, He gave you mercy.

Grace is waking up this morning with breath in your body after all the mistakes you made yesterday.

That is grace.

Number 2: We Need the Love of God

Not just from Him to us; but IN US to show toward others.

Do you know how many fewer lives would be taken if God’s love was the foundation of every person’s identity?

Pause and think about that.

Less hate.

Less jealousy.

Less revenge.

Less bitterness.

More forgiveness.

More patience.

More compassion.

Glory!

Say it with me:

“Lord, let Your love be the foundation of who I am.”

Because if I do not have love, I can have religion and still miss God.

Number 3: We Need the Sweet COMMUNION of the HOLY GHOST

Communion means fellowship.

Fellowship means deep partnership and daily relationship.

Praise the living Lord!

Just think about the beautiful effects of having a DAILY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HOLY GHOST.

Think about what that would look like.

Your decisions would be guided by God.

Your thoughts would be corrected by conviction.

Your actions would reflect wisdom.

Your desires would begin to align with Heaven.

You would not just “go to church”; you would walk with God daily.

That is powerful.

So now, the next time you hear or recite the benediction:

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the sweet communion of the Holy Ghost, rest, rule, and abide until we meet again. Amen.”

Those words should hit differently now.

Because now you understand the power behind them.

Pray for and protect these 3 essentials in your daily life.

Prayer: Father God, I thank You for Your grace, Your love, and the sweet communion of the Holy Ghost. Lord, I need Your grace daily because I fall short and I do not want sin to separate me from You. Cover me, forgive me, and help me walk in repentance. Let Your love be the foundation of who I am so that I can love others the way You love me. Remove bitterness, pride, and anything in me that does not reflect You. And Lord, I ask for deeper fellowship with the Holy Ghost. Let Your Spirit guide my thoughts, my decisions, and my daily walk. I want Your grace, Your love, and Your presence to rest, rule, and abide in my life always.
