40 Days of Prayer! Day 12

Seek blessings and find them.

Have you ever unconsciously said things like: " I know I'm not going to get _____. (and end up not getting what you wanted)

"This is not going to be a good day." (and end up having a bad day) "The doctor is going to tell me something is wrong."(then end up getting a bad report)

Maybe there are a few exceptions but, often times we get exactly what we expected to get.

Matthew 7:7-8

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened."

Thank you Jesus for telling us this truth in Mathew 7:7-8! His Word suggests that at times we might miss out on certain blessings simply because we do not request them. We might also honestly acknowledge that we've experienced negative results in the past because we anticipated or expected them.

With this newfound understanding, I hope you feel inspired to have faith and test it out. Begin requesting what you desire with faith, and focus on seeking positive outcomes instead of negative ones. Look for blessings and receive them. God bless you!
