Scripture :“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” – Philippians 4:6
Devotion:So often, we rush to solve problems on our own, relying on our limited understanding. We brainstorm, plan, and worry ourselves into exhaustion; only to realize we haven’t gone to the One who holds the answers. God invites us to bring everything to Him in prayer. When we pray first, we acknowledge His wisdom, His guidance, and His sovereignty over our lives. Prayer is not just a last resort; it should be our first response. The next time you feel overwhelmed, stop and ask yourself, “Have I prayed about this yet?” God’s perspective is greater than ours, and when we seek Him first, we position ourselves to walk in His perfect will.
Prayer:Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I try to handle everything on my own. Remind me daily to come to You first in prayer. You are all-knowing, all-wise, and You love me enough to guide my every step. Lord, I place my worries, decisions, and plans before You. Direct me according to Your will, and give me peace as I trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
