🕊️ PRAY HERE Devotion 🕊️ Miracles Happened Everywhere They Went. People Saw, Heard, and Believed!

Scripture: Acts 9:35, 42 (KJV)

“And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.” — Acts 9:35

“And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.”— Acts 9:42

Devotion: Have you ever heard someone’s testimony and thought,

“If God did it for them… maybe He can do it for me too.”

There is something powerful about hearing what God has done in another person’s life.

It builds faith.

It gives hope.

It reminds us that the same God who worked yesterday is still working today.

Whew!

Let’s look at today’s scriptures.

Peter healed Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years.

Later, through the power of Jesus Christ, God raised Tabitha (Dorcas) from the dead.

These were incredible miracles!

But what stands out to me isn’t just the miracles…

It’s what happened after the miracles.

The Bible says,

”…they turned to the Lord.”

And again,

”…many believed in the Lord.”

Glory to God!

The miracles pointed people to Jesus.

That was always the purpose.

Not to make Peter famous…

Not to build Peter’s ministry…

But to bring people to Christ.

Whew!

Now notice something else.

Do you think Aeneas kept quiet after lying in a bed for eight years?

Absolutely not!

Can you imagine Tabitha walking back into town after everyone had prepared her for burial?

People would have been asking,

“What happened?”

“I thought you were dead!”

“How are you alive?”

You know they told everybody what Jesus had done!

Their testimonies spread everywhere.

And because they shared what God had done…

Other people believed.

My, my, my!

Never underestimate the power of your testimony.

Someone may be one testimony away from believing God.

One testimony away from surrendering their life to Christ.

One testimony away from praying again.

One testimony away from not giving up.

That’s why the enemy fights so hard to keep us silent.

Because he knows testimonies build faith.

Now let’s bring this into our world today.

Someone hears how God healed a woman from cancer…

Instead of believing, they say,

“That wasn’t God. It was just medicine.”

Someone hears how God restored a broken marriage…

“That would never happen for me.”

Someone hears how God answered a prayer for a job, delivered someone from addiction, or saved their child…

Instead of seeking God, they convince themselves,

“That kind of stuff doesn’t happen anymore.”

Whew!

Don’t let unbelief rob you of your miracle.

On the other hand…

There are people who hear those same testimonies and say,

“If God did it for them, I’m going to seek Him too!”

They begin praying.

They start reading their Bible.

They come to church.

They surrender their lives to Jesus.

Hope is born because somebody shared what God had done.

Glory!!

That’s why you should never keep your testimony to yourself.

Somebody needs to hear how God healed you.

How He delivered you.

How He provided for you.

How He saved your life.

How He answered your prayer.

Your testimony may become the bridge that leads someone else to Christ.

Today, ask yourself:

Am I keeping my testimony to myself… or am I giving someone a reason to believe that Jesus still performs miracles?

God is still healing.

God is still delivering.

God is still saving.

And miracles are still happening everywhere His people go.

Prayer: Father God, thank You for every miracle You have performed in my life. Thank You for the prayers You have answered, the times You have healed me, provided for me, protected me, and brought me through situations that only You could have changed. Help me never be ashamed to share my testimony. Use my life to build someone else’s faith and point them to Jesus. Increase my faith to believe that You are still performing miracles today. Let my words, my witness, and my life inspire others to seek You with all their hearts. May many come to know You because of what You have done in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏼🕊️
