Scripture: Psalm 147:3 — “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”
Devotion: No matter how hard we try to avoid being hurt, pain still finds its way into our lives. Life is filled with both joy and sorrow ; each experience giving us a chance to see God’s love and power at work. You’ve likely known the sting of heartbreak: whether from loss, betrayal, disappointment, or rejection. The pain of being lied to, mistreated, or abandoned can leave deep wounds that no human words seem to heal. But here’s the truth:there is no pain that God cannot heal!
God is the Great Healer of hearts. His comfort runs deeper than the hurt, and His love reaches places that no one else can touch. If you are brokenhearted today, allow Him to mend you. Open your heart and give it fully to Him. He will never break it - He will protect it, strengthen it, and make it whole again.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being the healer of my heart. Even when I’m broken, You are near. Mend every wound within me, Lord, and fill the empty spaces with Your love. I surrender my pain to You and trust You to restore me completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
