🕊️ PRAY HERE Devotion🕊️ The War in Your Mind

Scripture: Romans 12:2 — “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Devotion: We have heard of wars and rumors of war. Some wars have been ongoing for generations, but there is no war more constant than the war in your mind. Every single day we wrestle with thoughts, emotions, and decisions. We weigh truth against lies, right against wrong, and God’s way against the world’s way. The battle is daily.

Today’s scripture starts by saying, “Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world.” Yet many are doing the complete opposite every day. We conform to the world’s style of dress, allowing society to define what is beautiful or acceptable. The world tells us what’s trendy and calls anything else outdated. It disrespects Godly covenants such as marriage and promotes perverted versions of what God made holy.

The Bible clearly tells us not to blend in, follow, or change into the customs of the world. Satan uses media and culture to influence minds daily. The world constantly promotes sex, provocative dressing, violence, drug use, greed, and pride ; especially through music, movies, and social media. These images flood our minds and influence our youth.

So here comes the war ; the daily fight not to conform to this world!

But God gave us the strategy to win:“Let God transform you by renewing your mind.”

Everything starts in the mind. When we allow God to transform us from within, it changes the way we think, live, and speak. You will no longer desire to look, act, or sound like the world. Instead, you’ll begin to reflect God’s will : His good, acceptable, and perfect plan for your life.

Win this war today by letting God renew your mind.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving me the power to overcome the battle in my mind. Help me not to conform to this world but to be transformed by Your Word and Spirit. Renew my thoughts daily so that I may think, speak, and live according to Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
