Scripture: Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)–“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Devotion: For everything that is true, there is always something that proves or confirms it. Sometimes the proof shows up right away, and sometimes it takes longer; but one thing we can agree on is that proof always comes. God said through Isaiah in today’s scripture that He never speaks a word that will not come to pass. If God says it, then proof will follow His word.
Like our elders in the church used to say, “If God be God, serve Him.” That simple truth reminds us that we must take God at His word. Our responsibility is to believe what He has spoken and to wait with expectation for the proof to show up in our lives.
The Bible gives us countless examples. When God said, “Let there be light,” there was light. When He told Noah that it would rain, it rained until the earth was flooded. When He promised to deliver the children of Israel out of Egypt, He split the Red Sea and brought them to freedom. Every time God spoke, the evidence came forth to prove His word true.
The same God is speaking today. If He has given you a promise, hold on to it; because the proof will follow after His word.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being a God who keeps His word. Help me to believe and trust every promise You have spoken, even when I cannot yet see the proof. Strengthen my faith so that I may stand firm until Your word is fulfilled in my life. I give You glory in advance for the evidence that will surely come.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

There WILL be proof! Amen
