Scripture:"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." — John 10:27 (NIV)
Devotion:Hearing God’s voice is more than just recognizing a feeling or a thought, it’s about understanding His direction and obeying it. God speaks to us in many ways: through His Word, in prayer, by the Holy Spirit’s leading, and sometimes through others. But understanding what He’s saying requires stillness, discernment, and a heart willing to obey. When we rush, we risk misinterpreting His instructions or missing them altogether. The more time we spend with Him, the more clearly we will hear and understand His voice, just as sheep know their shepherd’s call.
Prayer:Lord, thank You for speaking to me in ways I can understand. Teach me to be still in Your presence and to listen carefully for Your voice. Remove distractions and doubts that cloud my spiritual hearing. Help me not only to hear but to clearly understand and obey Your guidance.
