Scripture: "Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." — Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)
Devotion:There is a deep, unshakable power found in the joy that comes from the Lord. It's not based on circumstances, feelings, or what we possess. It’s a supernatural strength that uplifts us in our weakest moments, sustains us in trials, and reminds us that God is near.
When life feels heavy and uncertain, God doesn’t ask us to fake a smile ; He invites us to receive His joy. Joy is not the absence of trouble; it is the presence of God. The enemy wants to steal your joy because he knows it’s tied to your strength. But the Word of God assures us that when we tap into heavenly joy, we are empowered, refreshed, and renewed.
Today, choose to rejoice ; not because everything is perfect, but because God is still on the throne, still working on your behalf, and still the source of your strength.
Prayer:Lord, thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Help me to find joy in You, even in the middle of hard seasons. Fill my heart with peace, praise, and power that can only come from You. I declare today that the joy of the Lord is my strength. In Jesus’ name, amen.
